Too Good to Wait

Life has been busy....a good kind of busy! Busy with birthdays, mama's day, vacation, and the usual everyday stuff. I have lots of pictures and stories to share...but they can wait. THIS CAN'T:)

I had walked into another room and Abby yells, "Mommy come look what Jocelyn can do!" As I came into the room I see Abby lifting Jocelyn to her walker and Sweet Jocelyn giggling as she walked accross the room pushing her walker. Another milestone met with help from a wonderful big sister. I am a proud mama....

Dream

Can you tell by the smile on Daddy’s face how happy he is? A dream was played out this weekend for Chris:) It was something he has dreamed about during boring undergraduate courses, long vet school lectures, late nights and early morning study sessions, frustrating work situations, late night emergencies….you get the point….Chris has worked extremely hard for this, and we are very proud of him!

Thanks Daddy, we had a great day on the lake in our very own boat:)

Nothing says, “we had a great day on the lake” like a sweet little girl sound asleep in her life vest:)

Abby asked if we could name the boat “Tinkerbelle”…..pretty sure that wasn’t part of the Daddy’s dream!

Finnegan

There once was a man named Michael Finnegan. He had hair on his chin chin chinny chin.  When the wind blew he blew it back in again.  Poor old Michael Finnegan, begin again…….do you know that song?  We call it, “ Aunt Mimi and Uncle Clay’s song” because they taught it to Abby.

Yes, we got another dog:) His name is Finnegan.  He is a very good puppy. Abby is really enjoying playing outside with him.  Abby told me that she is now the teacher and the mommy to Finnegan.

Finnegan is from one of Daddy’s clients.  He is 11 weeks old and came having gone through some puppy training.  He really is a good dog.  Sometimes I feel like I have 3 children, but he will grow up fast:)  We are loving him and all the puppy!

Petting Zoo Fun

We had a field trip to a local petting zoo this past weekend with our Down Syndrome Support Group.  It is so nice to be surrounded by such wonderful families.
