Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving on the Colorado River with family and friends. We stayed with Grandpa Pat in his motor home. Chris got to bring his 1969 Ford Bronco out for the first time. We went on a couple of rides in it out in the desert...I must admit it is pretty cool! On Thanksgiving we went to down to Walters Camp and had Thanksgiving with about 100 other people. Each person brought a side dish and a dessert and they provided the meat. It was very yummy! It was a great vacation:) We have so much to be thankful for!

Cartwheels

Abby did the cutest thing the other day that I just have to share with all of you...we went to the beach for thanksgiving with Grandma Liz and Auntie Mimi. Auntie Mimi and Abby were playing down by the water and Mimi started doing cartwheels. Abby then started trying her very hardest to do a cartwheel too. She tried over and over and over! Abby loves her Auntie Mimi so much and YES she does want to visit her when she moves to Australia.

Happy 1st Birthday Abby!

Abby had so much fun at her 1st Birthday Party. Thank you to everyone who came, it was a very special day for Abby, Chris and I. We just keep talking about how Abby loved every minute of her party. She loved being held by everyone, playing with friends, eating her cake, opening presents and playing with her toys. We hope if you weren't able to make it that this slide show will be a way for you to share in her fun:)

Love,
Becca, Chris and Abby

So Big!

I can't believe how big Abby is getting. We had a fun time at the park with Flora and Tyler on Wednesday. Abby climbed up the stairs onto the jungle gym and crawled over to the slide. She would lay on her belly feet first and go down the slide (don't worry, it was little)all on her own. She did this over and over. She makes us smile:)

I also wanted to share a recent favorite picture of Abby standing. We went to Balboa park with Grandma Liz and took this picture. Isn't it too cute? Abby isn't walking on her own yet. She has taken a few small steps by herself but still prefers to crawl (Abby style).

Wild Animal Park

Abby and I went to the Wild Animal Park on Tuesday with friends that we met in swimming lessons when we first moved to Temecula. Flora has one little boy, Tyler and Tami has two kids, Mollie and Cody. Abby loves having kids to play with! It is so nice to have met such good friends so quickly. I had forgotten what a neat place the Wild Animal is! It has changed a lot (for the better) from when I remember going last. I think we'll be visiting the Wild animal park a lot more often:) Have a great day!

Remember When?

I have gotten back into scrapbooking, partly because it gets dark so early and partly because I want to have Abby's scrapbook up to date by her first birthday. It has been fun looking back at old pictures. I found this picture of Abby. This was the the pink onsie that she wore home from the hospital (She was bundled in more clothes on top of it). I can't believe that she is almost one and how much she has grown.

We have had a fun weekend. Chris and Grandpa Pat went fishing up in Kernville. I went to Grandma Liz's house. We went to Balboa park and did some shoping. The boys came home early because of the rain. It was fun to be able to watch the charger game with Great-grandma and Great-grandpa Huth! Hope you had a fun weekend.

My First Pink Pony

We went to visit Grandma T and Ed the other night. Abby remembered that Grandma T keeps a Pink Pony at her house for Abby. Thank you Madison for giving Abby this pony:) Abby has SO much fun riding it! Ted (the dog) even had fun barking at the pony. Thanks for a fun evening Grandma T (and for giving us a good rate for horse board).
