Paige was 2 weeks, and we were all getting antsy. We needed to pack up for the day and head out on an adventure. We chose mission beach in hopes of a nice day at the beach. It was cloudy and cold but we bundled up and had a great day together:) There was lots of talk of Aunt Mimi and Uncle Clay, and I liked that. We walked by there old house and visited their favorite restaurant, the Olive Cafe.
The Big Girls and Daddy rode the carousel, Paige waited in her stroller with Mama. We walked the boardwalk along the beach, had a yummy lunch, searched for shells, and visited the Candy Shop.
Heading home, I felt good. We all felt good. All the girls slept soundly in the car. Chris and I chatted about raising 3 kids, 3 girls. We are going to have fun. We both agreed, that we need to enjoy days out like this more often. Good thing summer is just around the corner. We are going to make it a good one…
The best part of our day was an unexpected stop the way home to introduce Paige to Nonna:)
