This blog is dedicated to the happiest little swimmer I have ever met. Travis was born with HLHS, Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. He fought valiantly until he lost this battle on February 1 9th.
Jocelyn and Travis were swimming buddies! These two little ones LOVED to swim. I will always remember the day when Travis excitedly screamed and splashed in Jocelyn’s face. He had something BIG to tell her. I will also remember when Travis’ Dad, Roger, shared with me that his brother has Down Syndrome. He spoke so highly of his brother and his accomplishments. It was just what I needed to hear at that moment. I am so glad that Jocelyn got to swim with Travis. It was fate that put them in class together. Today I ache for this family….
To celebrate Travis’ life, we wore red to swimming lessons.
We will ALWAYS swim with Travis in our heart.
The family shares an incredible blog of their story www.teamtravis.info

Becca,
Thank you for your dedication to my beautiful grandson Travis. I have such wonderful memories of Jocelyn & Travis at swim lessons. I thank God everyday for the opportunity to share this time with Travis. I will always remember the smiles of both Jocelyn & Travis with each other. God bless you & Jocelyn!
My good friend told me about Travis story right before he passed away. I have been reading the blog since. It is hard to believe these things happen and I couldn't even imagine what this family is feeling. Been keeping them in my thoughts and prayers.
Tears... life is so precious. I am thankful we had those sweet moments with Travis. I feel a connection with his family even though they don't know me. I think about them daily... especially when I see red :)
Travis so enjoyed his swim classes. I was so fun to watch him in the water. Thank you for the beautiful blog. My son is the one Roger spoke to you of. I believe we met at swim. Enjoy the journey with precious Jocelyn, it is one with many, many blessings.
Needing some time, I carried thoughts of Travis for a day before adding my comments. Just knowing of Travis from your blog has changed my outlook on things. Travis is a blessing for us all.
