Jocelyn is serious about school! She loves books (mostly shredding pages). Check out the book she has found to read (shred)!
We have been busy doing our homework from our appointment last week with our infant teacher. Many of you have had questions about what we work on, so maybe this will help you out a bit. The program is called Infant Circle and it’s through the Riverside County Department of Education. This is a government funded program for kids with special needs. She will be in this home program until she is 3. Right now the teacher comes out once a week and then various therapists will come out as needed. The speech therapist will come out with the teacher on Thursday to work on feeding. When she turns two she will have the teacher once a week and then also attend a weekly “circle time” with me.
Here’s what we’ve been doing….
Crawling over pillows….
Working on going from laying down to sitting up…
Rolling on the therapy ball…
Working on trunk strength..
Working on standing up using her knees…
Standing at the coffee table playing…..
I hope you learned something at “school” today:)

What a great little student! And a hard worker, just like her mom and dad. BaPooh
Sure does look like she's having a fun time learning and doing her homework! It took my daughter a while (and some physical therapy) to be able to go from laying to sitting- that's tough work for little ones!
